hundredandsixtyfirst: jake the snake

Here is the video that is taking the blogosphere by storm:

I feel compassionate and like this video is deserving of a good, long life.

Well done everyone involved.

Well done my awful buttocks.

I read Naïve. Super a couple of weeks ago.

Here are some thoughts about Naïve. Super:
  • The book makes everything very simple. It made me feel like I am really wasting my time with a lot of things I read and write.
  • I really recommend this book to anyone. There.
  • The book is very unashamed. When I read something unashamed, I want to write something unashamed. But it's hard.
  • The one time the book disappointed me (the part about Nikes) I realised it was just being 'unashamed' and then I felt different.
  • The book is very 'lovely'. I feel dumb saying that, of course. It is lovely though. It was very gentle and confident. It was very consistent also and I absolutely believed it.
  • The book is short. It's even shorter than you think it is. Sometimes I found myself thinking 'This is really short'.
  • Two of my favourite lines were ''A man yawning a big yawn" and also "Brothers are more important than money, my brother says", but neither of them look very good typed out like that, I'm sorry.
  • Here are some images of different covers for the book. I don't know what relevance the circles of colour have. It's a coincidence that I bought this book the same time I bought The Bird Room. The 'tone' of the book is very similar to The Bird Room. The covers are very similar. Chris blogged about the book the day after I started reading it, which is another coincidence.
  • The ending is right. The ending is absolutely right.

Hahaha.
My computer broke last week.
I had lots of things bookmarked that I wanted to write about.
They are gone now.
One of the things I had bookmarked was this.

I think I watched it 15 times last week.

**NEWS**

I just watched it again.

Another thing I remember having bookmarked is this, which I got via Chris Higgs's house.
My favourite is Highlander.
So, so good all of them though.

Oh. Wow. I remember some more things.
This, for eg.
I never know, can people who aren't in the UK watch BBC videos?
Maybe not.

My lifelong dream is to achieve 350 profile views on this myspace page.
Latest hit song, 'Hey (ft. SA-F)' now available.
OK.
Thanks.

Jake the snake plays dirty, fights dirty, but he loves like a hungry snake. Which is not dirty-it's god damn natural.
